Hot Water Recirculation System
plumber.jpg
The end result is thousands of wasted gallons of water
and the cost of the energy to heat them.
( Typically saves 12,000 gals per year)

In typical plumbing, water flows from the water heater through the pipes to the faucet.  Once the faucet is shut off, the wate remaining in the pipes cools, thus resulting in the familiar wait for hot water the next time the faucet is open.

A re-circulating system offers a simple and affordable soulution by attaching a hot water re-circulating pump to your water heater through the hot water pipe.  This pump keeps the hot water flowing through the pipes, giving you constant hot water withour the waste.  If you demand a lot of hot water with minimal waiting, a hot water recirculation system is the solution for you.  The systems consists of a spall pump mounted on your hot water heater along with a swing check valve.

The cost of operating such a system can be minimized using new energy efficient pumps and incorporating a timer and/or thermostat to program the system to turn off when it detects ample hot water during times of the day when the demand for hot water is reduced.
